Oppo Ace2 EVA limited edition with special accessories launched

28 May 2020 0

Oppo Ace2 Evangelion-inspired limited edition has gone official in China along with a few accessories themed after Neon Genesis Evangelion.

The all-new Oppo Ace2 EVA Edition is identical to the original Ace2 but features some aesthetical changes based around the anime. It features a color scheme inspired by EVA-01 (giant pilot in the anime series). This Eva-styled Oppo Ave2 phone is featured in purple color with angular green stripes etched on the back near to the camera module.

The phone is featuring some EVA-themed wallpapers as well. Interestingly, the design of the phone has been made available on the protective case as well.

Oppo Ace2 Evangelion Limited Edition phone is said to be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, which premiered in 1995.

The package in which this special edition comes is quite attractive. It has a white capsule-like shape and includes limited edition charger, cable, and wired headset as well. Even the SIM ejector tool is styled as the Spear of Longinus.

Alongside the phone, Oppo has also launched a bunch of limited edition accessories. These include Enco W31 TWS earbuds, Air VOOC wireless charger, a Watch, and a new Band as well. The regular version of the Oppo Band EVA Limited Edition is not yet available but it is being assumed that the company would launch it alongside the Reno 4 series, the launch date of which is currently unknown.

The price of the Ace2 EVA Edition is 4,399 yuan ($614) and Oppo has made only 10,000 units to sell. The Oppo Enco W31 TWS earbuds will be available for 399 yuan (roughly $55) while the Oppo Watch and Air VOOC Wireless Charger will go on sale for 2,199 yuan and 299 yuan (roughly $307 and $41). The entire lineup of EVA Edition products will go on sale on June 1st, 2020.
