After expanding into numerous product categories, Xiaomi is all set to enter a new one and this time around, it is the Indian laptop market. Xiaomi has officially tweeted that the Mi Notebook will make its global debut on June 11th in India. It has also set up a teaser page on the website highlighting some of the key features.
The official tweet mentions that the upcoming Mi Notebook will be an "India 1st, India exclusive, and Made for India" product. It seems like Xiaomi will announce a completely new product instead of bringing any of the existing ones from China. This is in contrast to initial reports suggesting that India will get a Redmibook product that will be rebranded to Mi.

Xiaomi is marketing the upcoming laptop as "Make Epic Happen" and "It's nothing like you have seen before from #Xiaomi". It seems like the company is pretty confident that its new product will take the whole laptop market in India by a surprise. Honestly, we cannot rule that out completely considering how it has dominated the Indian smartphone and smart TV markets.
As for the teaser page, it shows that Mi Notebook will have a bezel-less display panel with Full HD resolution. It will be powered by the Intel Core i7 processor but there are likely to be different configuration options. Xiaomi is further touting a lot of storage space and long-lasting battery life.
