Vivo has officially announced the X50 series, its new flagship series of 2020. As speculated, the main highlight of the X50 series is its gimbal-like stabilization system to offer professional-level stabilization to your videos. A gimbal-like camera system aims to reduce the shakiness of the videos
The series includes X50, X50 Pro, and the X50 Pro+ smartphones. Both the X50 Pro and the X50 Pro+ models have a built-in gimbal module that offers increased stability to the main camera. Their camera system includes Gimbal Radar, an on-screen animated ball that reflects gimbal’s movement and tells users when the frame is stable. Both of them feature a periscope lens that supports 60x Hyper Zoom. Both the models also support Super Night Mode and Astro Mode for clear pictures of the night sky.
The standard X50 does not have the gimbal stabilization and the periscope zoom. Although it has quad rear cameras, all aligned in a vertical position. On the front, it features punch-hole in the upper-left corner of the screen.
The highest model of the series that is X50 Pro+ features a 6.56-inch 120Hz FHD+ OLED+ display and it supports 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ as well.
