Samsung has launched two new budget smartphones Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 in India. The first one is the same phone that was announced globally about two months ago. The second one is a completely new smartphone and is also more affordable than the first one. Both of these have minor differences but both are meant to be easy on pockets.
The Samsung Galaxy M11 sports a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O display which is a punch-hole display. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor paired with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. The storage options of the phone include 32GB and 64GB along with support for microSD cards.
The phone has a triple camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera sensor housed within the punch-hole. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It comes with Alive Keyboard that provides smart suggestions for Hindi, Telugu, and Marathi languages.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy M11 at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB models respectively. It will be available in Black, Metallic Blue, and Violet color variants.
As for the Samsung Galaxy M01, it sports a 5.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V display which is a notched display. The choice of processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has a single storage option i.e. 32GB with support for microSD cards up to 512GB. It is the only configuration option available with the smartphone.
There is a double camera setup including a 13-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor. The front camera is a 5-megapixel sensor with Best Beauty mode for better selfies. It features a 4,000mAh battery with no fast charging support. The Galaxy M01 will cost Rs. 8,999 for the sole 3GB/32GB configuration. The color options include Blue, Red, and Black which will be available for buyers.
