Facebook's Manage Activity tool lets you delete your old embarrassing posts all at once

03 June 2020 0

Facebook has launched the Manage Activity tool to help you archive or delete old posts quickly, because, commit to this or not, we all have some embarrassing posts that we made in the past but had no way to delete all of them at once. Now, the new tool comes as a handy way to let you do what you long have wanted to do.

The Manage Activity tool actually comes as a way to handle your old posts. You can either archive them or throw them to the trash. Use the archive feature when you no longer want others to see what’s in your old posts but you still want to keep them for your own amusement.

And if you wish to get rid of the old content that you once made on your old relationships then Manage Activity will let you do so by moving your posts to the trash. Posts sent to the trash will remain there for 30 days before being deleted unless you choose to manually delete or restore them. So, you still have a good window to think again just in case you change your mind towards your old posts.

Manage Activity tool lets you view and manage your posts in bulk. With the help of filters, you can choose what post to keep and what post to remove. You can sort them out using a date range, posts with specific people, and so on.

Manage Activity is already active on Facebook Lite and will launch on mobile as well. It will be available on the desktop in the future.
