Moto G Fast, Moto E (2020) budget phones unveiled

If you are in the market looking to buy a new budget smartphone, Motorola has two new options for you to have a look at. These are Moto G Fast and Moto E (2020) that have been unveiled in the United States and Canada. Since these belong to Moto G and Moto E series respectively, they do come with noticeable features and price differences.

Moto G Fast

The Moto G Fast is the same phone that was leaked accidentally by the company about 10 days ago. It sports a 6.4-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) Max Vision display with a 19.9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It is available in a single storage option i.e. 32GB along with microSD card support.

There are three cameras on the back that include a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. It has a 4,000mAh battery to keep the lights on along with 10W fast charging.

Motorola has priced the Moto G Fast at $199.99 for the sole 3GB/32GB model. It will be available in the single Pearl White color variant starting June 12th but pre-orders are already live.

Moto E (2020)

The Moto E (2020) features a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. There is a 32GB onboard storage with support for microSD cards for storage expansion. It has also been released in the single configuration option.

The back panel has dual rear cameras featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 3,550mAh battery with 5W standard charging support. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Moto E (2020) has been priced at $149.99 for the only 2GB/32GB model. It is available in Midnight Blue color variant but sales will begin June 12th.
