09 June 2020 0

Huawei's P Smart is a series of mid-range smartphones aimed at delivering value for money to customers. The newest offering in the lineup is Huawei P Smart S that has been announced in China. The highlights of the phone include triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner, and modern design with a notched display.

The Huawei P Smart S sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) OLED display with a dot-like notch. Under the hood, it has the Kirin 710F processor coupled with 4GB of RAM which should deliver good enough performance. The onboard storage is 128GB along with microSD card support for those who would want more space.

The triple camera setup on the smartphone is vertically-aligned. It has a 48-megapixel primary ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 120-degree Field of View (FoV), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the notch which should be good for selfies and video calls.

The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging. It will ship with EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 as the operating system version. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. But as we have seen in the recent past, the phone will ship without Google apps and services.

Huawei has priced the Huawei P Smart S at EUR 249 in Italy. It will be available in Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal color variants.
