15 June 2020 0

Samsung has officially unveiled Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy Buds+ special editions for BTS fans. These are the same variants that surfaced in a bunch of leaks in the past few weeks. The new editions have been released in collaboration with the globally renowned South Korean boy band BTS aka Bangtan Boys.

Both the products are exactly the same as the standard version in terms of features, functionalities, and performance. The only difference is in the visual aesthetics which are BTS-inspired. Samsung has made use of Purple color, band's brand logo, and the purple heart iconography to give a feeling of being connected to the fans.

The Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition even has BTS themes pre-installed including the home screen and lock screen wallpapers. It has a pre-installed app called Weverse. It will act as a platform for fans to connect with each other. There will also be band decorative stickers and photo cards for further personalization.

As for the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition, these are truly wireless earbuds that sport Purple coloring. It has the band logo on one of the buds and the Purple heart iconography on the other. The charging case and the retail packaging have been colored in Purple as well.

Samsung says both these special editions will go on pre-orders starting June 19th and sales from July 9th. The 5G flagship will be available in both unlocked and carrier editions. It is offering a 50% discount on Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition and a free limited-edition BTS poster to everyone who pre-orders the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition. If someone chooses to preorder both the smartphone and wireless earbuds, he will get two limited-edition posters.
