OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro have received new OxygenOS Open Beta 15 that brings many fixes and improvements on the system-level. First off, as per the changelog, the new update adds the new OnePlus Brand logo for a refreshed look. This is the same logo that OnePlus introduced in March this year. The logo received minimal changes and there are not any big aesthetic changes.
The OxygenOS Open Beta 15 also brings June Android Security Patch. The other notable addition is the shortcut to switch to Dark Mode in the notification bar. The update also fixes the screen flashing issue after locking the device.
The update has also refined the step counter’s accuracy for recording the movement.
Below is the complete changelog –

- Added a shortcut to switch to Dark Mode in notification bar (scroll down to enable)
- Fixed the sharp edges of application cards in the recent apps screen
- Fixed the screen flashing issue after locking the device
- Updated OnePlus Brand Logo for a refreshed look
- Updated Android Security Patch to 2020.06

OnePlus warns that the build is not as stable as official OTAs. So, bear in mind that installing the update you are putting your device at risk. If you have already flashed an Open Beta, you will receive this new build as an OTA. And if you wish to migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs.
