Nokia 8.3 5G listing on Amazon Germany suggests imminent launch

It has been about three months since HMD Global showcased Nokia 8.3 5G as its first-ever 5G smartphone. If you have been wondering when you will be able to get your hands on the phone, there are still no official words. But it seems like the launch is around the corner as Nokia 8.3 5G has been spotted on Amazon Germany.

The listing is available as part of the dedicated Nokia store on the website. It highlights various major features of the phone to attract potential buyers. The focus is obviously on the 5G capabilities of the smartphone but it also mentions Zeiss optics for the camera department. It further talks about faster Android upgrades that Nokia is known for delivering. However, an exact launch date is still missing from the listing.


To give you an overview, the Nokia 8.3 5G sports a 6.81-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) PureDisplay with a punch-hole and HDR support. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. There are actually two configuration variants: 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage.

The quad-camera setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel Super wide-angle sensor, a depth sensor, and a macro sensor. It has a 24-megapixel camera sensor on the front with ZEISS optics. It features a 4,500mAh battery to keep the lights on. The phone will run Android 10 out of the box and also has a fingerprint scanner integrated within the power button.
