Motorola Edge+ users complain about display issues

17 June 2020 0

The Motorola Edge+ is a smartphone that marks the return of the company to the premium flagship segment. One of its highlighting features is the 90Hz AMOLED display panel which has now started showing issues to some users. Those who have been affected by these issues have shared their experiences online including the official Lenovo forums.

One of the users has complained about seeing purple spots on Motorola Edge+ display after a longer period of usage. Some of the posts also talk about seeing Green tint on the display of the flagship. The latter is similar to what Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and OnePlus 8 Pro users have complained about as well.

These issues have been reported to have disappeared automatically in some cases but only to resurface sometime later. Considering that the Motorola Edge+ costs over $1000, these issues should not have appeared in the first place. This is the reason that many users have expressed their disappointment over the situation.

Motorola is said to have released an update with the goal of fixing the issues but that has not worked for every affected user. Some have mentioned that while update did fix the issues for a while, they have reappeared. In such cases, it is advised that users visit their nearby service center to get the device checked and replaced if necessary. The good thing is that these issues are not affecting a huge number of users but even then, we would suggest you install any pending update that you may have.

The Motorola Edge Plus isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
