Netflix for Android now allows removing 'Continue Watching' titles

23 June 2020 0

Netflix has released a new Android app update that finally brings one of the most commonly requested features. It is the ability to remove titles from the Continue Watching row. The new feature is currently limited only to Android devices with support for iOS devices said to be coming soon.

As for how to remove Netflix Continue Watching titles, the whole process is simple and quick. The first thing is to ensure that you are running the latest Android app version. Launch the app and scroll down until you come across the Continue Watching section which will show a row of titles that you were watching but did not finish.

You will see a new three-dot menu icon next to each of these titles. Tapping on the icon will give you a menu with a bunch of different options. It will have Remove From Row option at the bottom which you need to tap on. The app will show a pop-up confirming whether you really want to remove the title. Tap the Yes option and that's it, the selected title will be removed. It should be noted that you will need to follow these steps for every single title that you want to remove from the list.

Other options in the pop-up menu are Episodes and info, Download next episode, Like, and Not for me. These options are self-explanatory and work exactly the same way their name suggests. The new Netflix update is already available on the Google Play Store and as always, it is free to download and install.
