Realme has officially unveiled the Realme X3 series of smartphones in India. There are two flagship phones named Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom. Both of these phones share the majority of the specifications and features with differences only in the camera setup and hardware configurations. Let's have a look at them one by one.

Realme X3 SuperZoom

The Realme X3 SuperZoom is the same smartphone that made its global debut last month. There are no changes to specs and features to the Indian variant. It sports a 6.57-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a pill-shaped punch-hole on the top left corner that houses dual selfie cameras. These feature a 32-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.5 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

The rear quad-camera setup features a telescopic lens sensor with an 8-megapixel sensor (f/3.4 aperture). It is capable of offering up to 5x optical zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. It further comes with optical image stabilization (OIS) that should help users avoid blurry shots. The other three cameras on the phone include a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, with f/2.3 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor paired with 12GB of RAM. There is only one storage option with 256GB of onboard storage. There is a 4,200mAh battery to keep the lights on and support for 30W Dart 3.0 fast charging. It will run Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Realme X3 SuperZoom has been priced at Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 32,999 for 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB variants respectively.

Realme X3

Since Realme X3 shares the majority of the Realme X3 SuperZoom specifications, we will talk about the differences. The first major difference is that the standard edition features a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with f/2.5 aperture. It is capable of offering up to 2x optical zoom for clicking distant subjects. The other three camera sensors are the same as the SuperZoom edition.

The dual selfie camera setup includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary wide-angle sensor. The phone has been released in 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM options but with single 128GB onboard storage. As for pricing, the Realme X3 will cost Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and Rs. 25,999 for 8GB/128GB model.
