UPDATE (July 1st, 2020):
Evan Blass, a well-known tipster, has now tweeted that Motorola will also launch the Moto G 5G Plus smartphone. It will be the elder sibling to the standard Moto G 5G but unfortunately, he did not offer any other details. It is safe to assume that the Plus variant will offer relatively better performance and will cost more.

We might see the first 5G smartphone from the Moto G family soon as a corresponding render has surfaced online, courtesy of the very known tipster Evan Blass. The alleged render of the Moto G 5G on the tipster’s Patreon account shows four rear cameras and two separate punch holes on the display.
The render clearly shows the phone is carrying 48MP primary sensor and there are three more sensors on the back of the phone housed inside a square-ish module. The four cameras are aligned in a 2x2 matrix form. On the front, the alleged Moto G 5G is featuring two separately placed camera sensors in two punch holes, the configuration of which is unknown, though an ultra-wide and a normal sensor is expected.
The render of the Moto G 5G also shows the phone is going to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
Nothing else can be gleaned through the render but we wait for more insights to come and provide us more details on the same. We, however, suspect that the Moto G 5G phone will be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 690 processor, the first 5G processor of the 600 series. This is because a few last Moto G phones used Snapdragon 600 series processors, so the Snapdragon 690 processor could be on the cards here.
In related news, there is one more Motorola 5G phone in the works and this could be the Motorola Edge Lite as tipped off last week. It is said to feature Snapdragon 765G or Snapdragon 730G processor.
