Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G that is expected to launch at the rumored August 5 event is grabbing much attention through leaks. The 5G variant was already suspected to feature the design similar to the Galaxy Z Flip and now images spotted on TENAA certification have confirmed this as well.
The listing shows a bunch of images of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G which are featured here as well. As you would notice, the 5G variant is essentially bearing the same clamshell design, with the same small display at the outside, beside the dual-camera setup and an LED flash. On the inside, the phone’s AMOLED screen has a punch hole-shaped cutout that houses the selfie camera. The fingerprint reader and the volume rocker stay on the right, while the left side has a SIM card slot. There is also a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
The TENAA certification has also listed some of the key specifications of the 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip. As per the listing, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a 6.7-inch full HD Plus display with a 1.05-inch secondary display (300x112 pixels). The phone is powered by an unnamed 3.09GHz octa-core processor. Possibly, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is coming with the yet-to-come Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, as per the tipster Ice Universe.
Well moving on, TENAA also shows that the phone will carry an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also has a 12MP primary and 12MP secondary camera sensors on the back. There is a 10MP selfie camera as well. Connectivity features include 5G (SA+NSA), LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
Furthermore, the same phone with model number SM-F707B has also spotted on FCC and the listing reveals some other key aspects, including 15W fast-charging. The listing also confirms the device is going to support dual-band Wi-Fi 6, a step up from the Galaxy Z Flip’s Wi-Fi 5.
We are almost a month away from the said launch event where Samsung is expected to bring many new offerings, including the next Galaxy Fold. Let’s wait for some more insights.
