It is about to be a month since Google made Android 11 available for public beta testing. The build was originally available for Pixel devices but was later expanded to devices from other OEMs. And now, Huawei has revealed its plans related to testing the new version for its own devices.
Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei's Consumer Business Software Department, has said that EMUI 11 based on Android 11 will be released in Q3 2020. There is no exact release date but it should be available sometime between July and September 2020. We should be expecting a specific date sometime soon.
There are no words on the changelog but Chenglu revealed that it will be better and improved than predecessors. The current version of EMUI is EMUI 10.1 which is based on Android 10. It is currently working on making the newest version available for all eligible devices around the world.
As of now, we can expect EMUI 11 to become available for all current-gen flagships as well as many other mid-range and budget devices. It will also release for eligible Honor devices which will receive it as Magic UI. The current version is Magic UI 3.1 but as and when Android 11 will be released, it should arrive as Magic UI 4.
