PUBG Mobile's latest 0.19.0 update is finally available for Android and iOS users to download. The update brings tons of new features, changes, and improvements but the highlight of the show is the much-awaited Livik map. It is has taken the title of being the shortest Classic mode map available on the game from Sanhok.
Another thing that makes Livik map unique is that it is the first map that is exclusive to the mobile version of the popular battle royale game. The map measures 2km x 2km in dimensions and will host up to 52 players in a single match. This is almost half the standard 100 players limit on the other three maps i.e. Erangel, Sanhok, and Vikendi. Each match will last for about 15 minutes, thus allowing users to get their beloved Chicken Dinner in a short time.
As for what to expect from the map, it is essentially a mix-up of all the other four maps and a few new areas. There are two new exclusive weapons P90 SMG and Mk 12 marksman rifle. The P90 is the same weapon that debuted in the Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode recently. The map also has Monster Truck as its exclusive vehicle.
It should be noted that even though the Livik map is available on the stable version starting today, it is still in the Beta testing phase. This is the reason you will see a notification on the spawn island stating that it does not represent the final product. It means we are likely to see changes in future updates but even in its current state, we did not face any issues or glitches during out gameplay across all three modes (Solo, Duo, and Squad).
PUBG Mobile has recommended Android and iOS users to keep about 1.84 GB and 2.13 GB storage space free respectively. The update can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store and App Store. Lastly, the update also brings PUBG Mobile Royal Pass Season 14 themed Spark the Flame but it will go live on July 14th.
