The Lenovo Legion gaming phone is now available for pre-booking in China. It can be pre-booked via Lenovo's official website as well as JD.com (a Chinese online shopping portal). The dedicated page also teases a bunch of specs and features like Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor, 90W Dual Type-C fast charging, and 144Hz display refresh rate.

Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone is grabbing much attention, mainly due to its rumored beefy specifications. Leaks have said much and Lenovo has also thrown some teasers at us to tell what’s coming but this is the first time it has announced the launch date of its gaming phone.
Lenovo took to Weibo to announce that its new Legion gaming phone will launch on July 22. This is the same day when one more company will launch its gaming beast called the ROG Phone 3. So, it is going to be a big day for mobile gaming enthusiasts. It will be announced at 7:30 pm local time in China, almost three hours before Asus’s event where it will present its ROG Phone 3.
The announcement from Lenovo comes after the launch of the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset. The official poster of the launch date announcement also confirms the device is going to be powered by the newest chipset from Qualcomm. The new Snapdragon 865 Plus promises a 10% increased in performance and better gaming with overclocked GPU. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2. So, the new phones carrying the latest processor are going to have an edge over the phones with the vanilla version of Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The Lenovo Legion is expected to offer 90Hz display, side-mounted pop-up camera, 90W charging in terms of dual 45W fast charging support, and more. It may carry an elephantine sized LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
