OnePlus 7T/7T Pro Open Beta 6 brings new Game Space feature

10 July 2020 0

OnePlus has reportedly started rolling out the Open Beta 6 update to its OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro phones. A Redditor has shared a screenshot that shows the complete changelog of this update. The screenshot shows the update is quite big with 2.52GB size. The changelog shows what optimizations and improvements this new update is bringing for the two phones.

Apart from them, the update also brings some fixes to mend some issues that were too annoying to handle. The update has now fixed the issue that would not wake up the screen upon double-tap. It has also fixed the automatic pull-down issue with unlock screen in ambient display. Also, the July security patch has arrived early for at least two OnePlus phones. These were system-level changes.

Now, the update has added Lap time and Split time title for Stopwatch in the Clock. Also, Game Space has gained a new feature called “Moments” that stores gaming snapshots and screen recordings. To find your Moments, just tap on the three-dot menu at the upper right corner and click Moments and select Recent/Games to find them.

The Open Beta 6 update for the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro phones also fixes the abnormal color display at the top and button areas of the Notes app. The update has fixed an issue around the Messages app as well.

This is an OTA update and may take some time to reach all those who have participated in the open beta program. Needless to say, these beta builds are not as stable as official OTAs. If you have already flashed an Open Beta, you will receive this new build as an OTA.
