iPhone 12 packaging concept shown, 120Hz display looks doubtful [video]

10 July 2020 0

If you are following Apple-related rumors and leaks, you must have heard about the reports related to ditching adapter and earphones in the iPhone 12 retail packaging. It is claimed that this will result in a slimmer and exquisite packaging which has now been shown in a new render concept by EverythingApplePro.

The concept shows that the retail box includes the iPhone, a charging cable, and some paperwork. These are the only in-box contents that users will get with each purchase. This is undoubtedly a minimal unboxing experience which will also be a quick one. A user will simply need to take out only these three in-box items.

In the same video, it has been mentioned that the much-rumored 120Hz display on iPhone 12 series is under doubt. The latest buzz in the rumor mill is that the 120Hz panel did not meet the quality standards set by Apple. There were a total of 20 different tests but iPhone 12 Max and iPhone 12 Pro ended up failing in four and three tests respectively. This is the reason that the chances of the tech making it to the final version are looking bleak.

The video also covers different leaks that have surfaced in the past week. You can check out the complete video and discussion below:
