Nubia has a new phone to launch on July 28 and going by some of the official teasers this is going to be the Red Magic 5S. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has proudly revealed much about the phone already, including a 144Hz refresh rate display and the presence of the very new Snapdragon 865 Plus processor.
The latest teaser shared by the company on Weibo shows the device will launch on July 28, though the exact timing of the commencement is unknown.
In a separate post, Nubia confirms the phone has a 144Hz display with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Also, a teaser shared by Ni Fei, president of Nubia Technology revealed the cooling technology behind the Nubia Red Magic 5S. According to the teaser, the phone uses a copper foil for heat dissipation combined with a built-in 15,00 rpm high-performance fan. The phone also uses high-performance thermal gel, large liquid cooling tubes, and air ducts to keep the phone cool during long gaming sessions.
Fei has reportedly also confirmed on Weibo that the Redmi Magic 5S will come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage support.
It is still unknown how much the Red Magic 5S is going to cost but we are not too far away from the slated launch where everything will be disclosed.
