Ever since Xiaomi announced Poco as an independent entity, it has done nothing but release rebranded Redmi devices. These include Poco X2, Poco F2 Pro, and most recent Poco M2 Pro. It is now reportedly working on a new phone called Poco C3 which to no one's surprise is another Redmi rebranded phone.
The Poco C3 has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website suggesting a launch is around the corner. The listing reveals its model number to be M2006C3MI which is strikingly similar to Redmi 9C's model number M2006C3MG. There is a difference of only "I" and "G" at the end which is likely representation for Indian and Global variants respectively.
This revelation also means that Poco C3 is headed to the Indian market. This is not surprising either as Poco has released all of its previous phones in India as well. The listing does not offer any details about the specs or pricing but considering Redmi 9C is already available in Malaysia, we can speculate what to expect from the next Poco smartphone.
Poco C3 Specifications Leak:
- 6.53-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD display
- MediaTek Helio G35 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB onboard storage
- 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor
- 5-megapixel front camera
- 5,000mAh battery
- MIUI based on Android 10
These are actually Redmi 9C specifications but as it will be rebranded by Poco, we are expecting the specs table to remain unchanged for the majority of the part. Poco might change a few things here and there but for the most part, there should not be any changes. Nevertheless, we will keep you posted on all the future developments related to the phone.
