Interestingly, the same phone is addressed as Lenovo Legion Pro in China. Well, naming aside, let’s learn a bit more about it and know what this gaming phone has to offer.

The highlight of the phone has to be its side-mounted pop-up camera mechanism and this brings up an overall unusual design. But that’s what the unique point of all the beasty gaming phones today. They don’t follow the conventional design blindly; their design language matches to their functionality. Now, Lenovo Legion Duel has been designed to match the requirements of mobile gamers as well.

It has been specially crafted for landscape use as this is the only mode gamers like to use for their prolonged gaming sessions. This is in fact, the best position of the camera otherwise it would have been an obstacle while doing live-streaming on platforms like Twitch. The position of the rear cameras is no standard either. The dual-camera setup is placed right at the center of the back panel. There is a multicolor LED on the back beneath the Legion “Y” logo.

Lenovo touts many features of its first-ever gaming phone are in pair, including dual ultrasonic shoulder keys, dual X-axis linear motors, dual-liquid mid-thermal, floating cooling system, dual 2500mAh battery, dual front-facing stereo speakers and dual Type-C charging ports.

It has multiple USB-C ports as well, with one at the bottom of the phone when held in portrait mode and another opposite the pop-up selfie camera on the side. Lenovo Legion Phone Duel has a dual-liquid mid-thermal, floating cooling system that keeps the engine cool during extensive usage.

Another important aspect that a mobile gamer would want to know is the battery capacity and now its fast charging tech as well. Lenovo Legion Phone Duel has two 2,500mAh battery that can be charged in 30 minutes by plugging USB-C cables on both the ends. This means it has a total of 5,000mAH battery which positioned in a split-cell design onto the top and bottom of the phone. This will ensure a quick charge of the phone. In some markets, the Legion Phone Duel will ship with a 90W charger. According to Lenovo’s claims, Duel’s two batteries charge the phone 0 to 50% in 10 minutes, and fully charging the batteries takes 30 minutes.
