Apple has released iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 third developer beta to all the beta testers around the world. The latest build has arrived about two weeks after the second build and the release of public betas. There are not any major changes in the third beta but one would see a couple of noticeable differences on his devices.
The first such difference is the addition of a new World Clock widget for iPhones and iPad. It is a widget that allows adding clocks of up to four different cities on the home screen. These cities can also be different from the ones you might have already added within the clock app. It is meant to help users check the current time in different cities directly from the home screen and without having to open the app every time.
The next noticeable change is more about the visual difference and does not affect the user experience in any way. Apple has reverted the Apple Music app icon to the one it used years ago. The new icon is Red in color with a White-colored music note in the center of it. As we said, this change is more about how the icon looks.
iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 beta 3 builds are likely to be packed with bug fixes and performance enhancements. If you are already a beta tester, the update should arrive sooner than later and can also be checked manually by visiting system settings. Those who do not have an Apple developer account, it is advised you wait for the release of the second public beta that should release soon enough.
