UPDATE (August 8th, 2020):
The iPhone 12 OLED display panel has surfaced a new leak. The image has been shared by a Twitter user named Mr. White who has tweeted a close-up shot of the panel. He has mentioned that the notch size on the iPhone 12 is same as the predecessor i.e. the iPhone 11. This is in contrast to previous claims that iPhone 12 notch will be slightly smaller than the previous generation.

Apple is rumored to announce a number of modes within the iPhone 12 series that will differ in display sizes as well as 5G/4G connectivity. One of the display sizes that has caught everyone's attention is the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 which will make it the smallest iPhone in the series. It is aimed at those who prefer a smaller design and now, a new leak about the device has emerged.
DigitalChatStation, a Weibo-based leak account, has shared a couple of photos claimed to be showing the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 display panel. The alleged panel features a notch at the top similar to what we have seen with the iPhone 11. The notched display design will help to offer a 5.4-inch display within the same footprint as the 4.7-inch iPhone SE (2020).
The approach will allow the smaller iPhone 12 to feel more compact while offering a relatively bigger viewing estate. The tipster claims that the phone is so compact that it can be used easily with just one hand. This is something one cannot do on most devices as they feature display panels well above 6-inches in size.
If we talk about the other 5.4-inch iPhone 12 leaks, it is said to offer OLED display with 2079 x 960 pixels resolution and 131 x 64 mm dimensions. It will be powered by Apple's latest and greatest 5nm A14 processor. The dual-camera setup will feature a 12-megapixel main and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The battery capacity is tipped to be 2,227mAh battery with pricing expected to be between $699 and $749.
