We are getting closer to the time that Motorola usually reserves for an annual Moto G-series refresh. It revealed the Moto G8 family over the course of the past few months and now, it is preparing for the Moto G9 series. The folks over at MySmartPrice have managed to spot a smartphone that they are claiming to the Moto G9 Plus.
The alleged Moto G9 Plus has been spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification website. The listing shows a phone with model numbers XT2087-1 and XT2087-2. This is similar to how Motorola opts model numbers for its smartphones and also happens to be exactly the same ones that were spotted in an EEC listing last month.
The TUV listing does not reveal much about the phone in terms of specifications except for two important things. The first is that the Moto G9 Plus will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery. This is a big enough battery considering modern hardware demands and usage habits of users. The second important aspect is that it will be supported by 30W fast charging tech.
When Motorola unveiled the Moto G8 Plus, the smartphone featured only 15W fast charging. It is good to see that there is twice the charging speed on the successor that should help users recharge their phones much quicker. We will keep you updated on other specifications and details of the phone as they will surface.
