Vivo has a number of 5G smartphones in its catalog and is now preparing to announce a new one. This upcoming phone is said to be called Vivo S7 that will make its debut in China next week. To be specific, the launch event has been scheduled for August 3rd which is the coming Monday. And now, a new leak has surfaced that shows alleged Vivo S7 as well as its specifications.
The Vivo S7 sports a notched display that houses dual selfie cameras. This is something that we do not get to see usually as OEMs prefer punch-hole displays for housing multiple front cameras. The choice of processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G clocked at 2.4GHz. The particular device showed in leak features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage but there are likely to be more configuration options as well.
On the software side of things, the smartphone is running Vivo's custom Funtouch OS based on Android 10. This is good to see that users will get to use the latest Android version out of the box. The leaked image lastly confirms the model number which is Vivo V2020A.
The Vivo S7 has been making rounds of the rumor mill for the last few days. The rumors suggest that the phone will have triple rear cameras featuring a 64-megapixel sensor, a 13-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity is tipped to be 4,500mAh with probably support for 33W fast charging.
