LG is seemingly prepping up to bring one more version of its Velvet smartphone. As spotted on Google Play Console, the phone is listed with MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset and a few other key specifications.
To recall, MediaTek launched the Dimensity 800 for mid-range smartphones with 5G support. Up until now, LG has launched two phones in its Velvet series – one with an older Snapdragon 845 processor and another with Snapdragon 765 SoCs. Now, the latest one that is spotted on Google Play Console does not look different in terms of the rest of the specifications.
It retains the 6GB RAM, Android 10 OS, Full HD+ display with 1,080x2,460 pixels resolution with 420dpi. Additionally, the phone comes with Dual Screen functionality and has a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera.
The listing does not reveal the camera configurations but we assume it to be the same as available on the standard LG Velvet phone. It sports 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor for portrait shots. The phone houses a 16MP front camera and a 4,300mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging support. Connectivity features include 3.5mm audio jack, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
There is no word on its price and availability yet.
