Samsung Galaxy M31s released with quad cameras, 6000mAh battery

As teased over the past few days, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy M31s in India. It is the newest mid-range phone in the Galaxy M-series that has proved to be a huge success in the country. The main highlight of the phone includes a bigger display, an AI camera system, and a huge battery with reverse charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy M31s sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. It means that the display panel has a centered punch-hole for housing the selfie camera. Talking of which, it is a 32-megapixel sensor with Smart Selfie Angle feature for group selfies. The choice of processor is Exynos 9611 which is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. There is a single storage option i.e. 128GB that you will get with both variants.

The back panel has a rectangular camera module on the top left side. It houses a total of four camera sensors: 64-megapixel sensor, 12-megapixel sensor, and two 5-megapixel sensors. There are camera features like filter customization, Night Hyperlapse for night videos, and the ability to switch between rear and front camera while shooting a video.

The whole package is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that will last for a full day with ease. The good is that it can be charged pretty quickly using the 25W charger that comes bundled in the box. It even offers reverse charging so that the phone can be used for charging other devices. The phone further has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and it will run Android 10 out of the box.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy M31s at Rs. 19,499 and Rs. 21,499 for 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants respectively. It will be sold starting August 6th exclusively via Amazon India.
