03 August 2020 0

OnePlus has released a new OxygenOS update for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T users. The update brings a couple of major changes along with a bunch of fixes and improvements. These changes include support for OnePlus Buds truly wireless earphones as well as the July 2020 security patch.

The update is OxygenOS 10.3.5 that will arrive over the air on all OnePlus 6 and 6T series devices. It means as and when the update will arrive, users will receive push notification automatically. The update can also be checked manually by visiting system settings on the phone. The update size is 250MB which is quite small and should not take that much time to download.

Here is the detailed OnePlus 6/6T OxygenOS 10.3.5 update changelog:

  • Optimized RAM management
  • Newly adapted OnePlus Buds, easier to take advantage of wireless connection
  • Fixed the crash issue when browsing on Chrome
  • Fixed the black screen issue when opening logkit
  • Improved system stability and fixed general bugs
  • Updated Android Security Patch to 2020.07
  • Updated GMS package to 2020.05

It is worth noting that it is a staged rollout for users around the globe. It means some users will receive it sooner than others. If you have not received it already, you should be patient for some time.
