Honor to attend IFA 2020 with a wide range of products

06 August 2020 0

IFA, one of the biggest exhibition shows of the year is happening amidst the pandemic outbreak, though it will follow a new format. Some companies like Samsung that actively participate in the show every year are keeping themselves away due to the coronavirus threat and that is understandable.

IFA announced that it will hold the event from September 3rd to September 5th in Berlin but it will not proceed the same way as it used to be. IFA organizers have prohibited media and enthusiasts from attending the event.

But there are some exhibitors that will continue to be part of the event in September. Honor is one such name that has just confirmed that it will attend IFA and conduct a press conference on September 4.

As evident from the poster shared by Honor, the event will be centralized around smart home products. However, the poster only shows the tablet, phone, smartwatch, laptop, fitness tracker, and a router. The presentation is titled “Expand Your Smart Life” and Honor is expected to present the portfolio of products that have been illustrated in the poster.

It is currently unknown if Honor has a complete new range or will it just showcase some of its recently launched products from the aforementioned categories. Let’s just wait as we are less than a month away from this biggest event. It will be also great to see how the event will proceed amidst pandemic when all other big events of the year have either been completely canceled or switched digital paths.

Other participants at IFA 2020 are LG, TCL, and Honor’s parent company Huawei. HMD Global is also expected to bring new mid-range Nokia phones at the event. Their presentations are reportedly scheduled for the first day only.
