Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra went official just two days back and they haven’t yet hit the store shelves even but they are being fed with their first software update already.
As reported by SamMobile, the update weighs 500MB which is significantly big but the changelog shows no new features. There are just some bug fixes and stability improvements. It is, however, presumed that the update might have added a few new features that were not made available for the two phones initially.
The two phones Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are available for pre-booking in many countries but they are not going to be available before August 21. Anyway, those who have pre-booked their device will see the update knocking on the door once they set up their respective device. The 500MB sized update feels crucial and it is good to see that Samsung is ironing out the bugs to present a polished experience so that the buyers could enjoy their new phone.
In a related story, at the end of its recently held Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event, Samsung promised to offer three major Android OS updates for its new Galaxy Note phablets. This is one of those features for which one would fall for the new Galaxy Note series. However, together with this, Samsung also mentioned that flagship phones from Galaxy S10 are eligible for this new policy as well.
In case you missed it, Samsung also announced more products alongside the new Galaxy Note series, including new tablets, a smartwatch, new earbuds, and a new foldable phone as well.
