As Xiaomi is celebrating its 10th anniversary, it has announced two new flagship smartphones to mark the occasion. These are Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra which have been revealed in China. The latter is aimed at delivering exceptional value for money as it brings numerous premium features at relatively affordable pricing.
The Redmi K30 Ultra sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a pop-up selfie camera. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and support for HDR 10+ with a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The pop-up camera houses a 20-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and attending video calls.
Under the hood, it has an octa-core 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor with Mali-G77 GPU. There are a total of four configuration variants featuring up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The quad-camera setup on the back panel includes a 64-megapixel primary Sony sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with 119-degree FoV, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The good thing is that a 33W fast charger will be bundled with the retail box. The phone is also compatible with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4+. It will run MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box. Other noteworthy features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers.
Redmi K30 Ultra Pricing:
It will go on sale starting August 14th with an option to choose from Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Mint Green color variants.
