The Realme C12 has just been made official as the newest budget smartphone in Indonesia. It is the third Realme C-series smartphone launch in the past couple of months. It joins the Realme C11 and Realme C15 that were released in late-June and late-July respectively.
The design of all three phones is pretty much the same with nothing new to talk about. In terms of specs, the Realme C12 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a dotted notch. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G35 processor which is touted as the gaming processor. It is the same chipset that is available on the other two phone models as well.
Realme has offered a single configuration variant i.e. 3GB of RAM with 32GB of onboard storage. The phone supports microSD cards for those who would be interested in more storage space. The back panel has a square-shaped camera module featuring triple rear cameras. These include a 13-megapixel primary sensor paired with two 2-megapixel sensors. The front camera is a 5-megapixel sensor housed within the notch.
The whole package is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and even supports reverse charging. Thankfully, there is 10W fast charging support which should help you charge it somewhat faster. On the software front, it will run Realme UI based on the latest Android 10 out of the box. And yes, it also has a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The Realme C12 has been priced at IDR 1,899,000 (about $128) for the sole 3GB/32GB variant. It will be available in Coral Red and Marine Blue color variants starting August 16th.
