Apple Music is a streaming service that mainly focuses on providing on-demand music but it also has a radio aspect to it. There are various radio stations for those who are interested in more than just listening to songs. These offer chat shows with music artists among other content. In an effort to improve the same, Apple has now announced two new radio stations and has also renamed the popular Beats 1 station.
The newly added stations are Apple Music Country and Apple Music Hits. The first one is dedicated to country music and will feature multiple on-air hosts including Kelleigh Bannen, Ty Bentli, Bree, Alecia Davis, Ward Guenther, Nada, and Tiera. It will offer country music from the past as well as the present. It is meant to deliver an experience where fans can see its evolution all these years and where it is heading next. There will be new content on a daily and weekly basis to keep fans engaged.
As for Apple Music Hits, it is all about the best hit songs from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s. The station will have on-air hosts like Jayde Donovan, Estelle, Lowkey, Jenn Marino, Sabi, Nicole Sky and Natalie Sky, and George Stroumboulopoulos. The fans will even have access to exclusive shows from the likes of Backstreet Boys, Ciara, Mark Hoppus, Huey Lewis, Alanis Morissette, Snoop Dogg, Meghan Trainor, and Shania Twain.
Lastly, the popular Beats 1 radio station has been renamed to Apple Music 1. This is the only change that users will see as the content quality and quantity will remain unchanged. The fans of the station will continue to get the same experience that they have enjoyed so far. All these three stations come bundled with Apple Music membership
