Update: September 15, 2020
The sources of one of the top tipsters have turned out true as Google has now confirmed the September 30 launch event for its new products. Google didn't mention the names of its upcoming products, but going by several rumors and leaks, it could be the Pixel 5. It is also possible that Google may launch the 5G version of the Pixel 4a as well at the same launch event. Previously, Google had announced that the two phones will launch this year, though it didn't reveal the launch date then.
It is also very likely that Google will launch its "new Chromecast," which is the Android TV-powered dongle with an internal name "Sabrina."
Google has named its September 30 event "Launch Night In" and the timing is 11 a.m. PT. The event will be live-streamed to the public as well.

Looks like the much-rumored Google Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G phones are launching on the same day, well, if the fresh of the fresh tip is to be considered. The leaker Jon Prosser who has a pretty good track record of posting the right information about upcoming products has now tipped the two phones Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G are launching as soon as September 30. Google had previously confirmed that the two phones will launch this year only but the exact date or even a possible timeframe was not disclosed.
What we see in the system is

Pixel 5 5G (black and green)
Pixel 4a 5G (black)
- September 30
Pixel 4a 5G (white)
- October
The tipster has even posted specific details on the colored variants that will be launched first. According to his tweet, Pixel 5 in green and black colors and Pixel 4a 5G in black color are arriving on September 30 and a white Pixel 4a 5G will land sometime in October this year.
Previously, Google’s website for France inadvertently mentioned that the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will go up for pre-orders on October 8. So, we believe the new tip coming from Prosser could end up being true as the launch and pre-order dates look aligned. But let’s just wait for more substantiality around the subject.
Leaks have suggested the Pixel 5 will bear the Snapdragon 765G processor and not the flagship processor. Expect to see upgraded cameras and premium design, though. On the other hand, the Pixel 4a 5G is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor and a dual-camera setup on the back. As Google has already confirmed the 5G-powered Pixel 4a will start at $499, whereas Pixel 5 is rumored to hold a $699 price tag.
Let’s wait for more details to come in.
