Google Pixel 4a finally gets Android 11 beta 3 update

25 August 2020 0

Google Pixel 4a has finally shown up on the list of supported devices for the Android 11 Beta program, meaning you can now enroll your device and get your hands on the latest beta build before the public launch. Pixel 4a users are seeing the same Android 11 Beta 3 (Build: RPB3.200720.005) that launched at the start of this month. This is the final beta release and pretty much stable compared to the first two, but still, it is not as furnished as the public release which is set to release in the third quarter this year.

So, it is better to review the latest known issues before you enroll in the beta program.

Just follow this link to enroll your Pixel 4a device for the Android 11 Beta program and try out the next major OS update before its public release. Once you opt-in the program, you will be able to download the latest Android 11 beta build by heading over to Settings> System>Advanced> System Update. You can also download an OTA or factory image for your Pixel 4a from the Android Developers page.

Note that you can opt-out of the program at any time to return to the stable version of Android. But opting out the program will wipe all your user data. And, if you wish to stay, your phone will receive a stable public release of Android 11.
