Vivo Y20, Vivo Y20i with Snapdragon 460 SoC unveiled in India

26 August 2020 0

If you are looking for a new budget smartphone to purchase, Vivo India has two new options for you to consider. These are Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i that were released earlier today. Both of these are exactly the same phones except for the difference in configuration and color variants. This results in a minor price gap between the two phones.

The Vivo Y20 sports a 6.51-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a dewdrop notch. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone offers 64GB of onboard storage along with microSD card support. With Vivo Y20i, you will get the same specs but with 3GB of RAM.

A triple camera setup is available on the backside. It features a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture accompanied by two 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The stock camera app comes with various modes including panorama and slow-motion videos.

The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The exact Android version is unknown but it will run Vivo's custom Funtouch OS 10.5 out of the box. The Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i have been priced Rs. 12,990 (about $175) and Rs. 11,490 (about $154) respectively. These phones will go on sale starting September 3rd.
