Ever since OnePlus Nord became official, there have been rumors that the team is busy working on another affordable smartphone for its fans. There have been reports about a device codenamed Clover and now, Android Central is reporting that it is indeed under development with the release set for later this year.
The report mentions that OnePlus Clover will be an entry-level smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. There will be a 6.52-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD display. It is unknown whether there will be a notch or punch-hole. The configuration is said to be 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage but there can always be more options.
The back panel will have triple rear cameras starring a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The other two cameras will be 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 aperture. These two are likely to be depth and macro respectively. There are no words on the front camera setup yet but we are expecting a single shooter there.
One of the main highlights of the Clover is its huge 6,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a capacitive fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated microSD card slot. The OnePlus Clover is said to cost around $200 with global availability including the United States.
