Poco has officially announced that it will launch Poco M2 on September 8th in India. It will be an online-only event where we will meet the standard variant of the Poco M2 Pro. In other words, the phone will likely have toned down specifications and features for relatively affordable pricing.

The announcement makes it clear that Poco M2 will be a Flipkart exclusive product. There is even a dedicated teaser page on the eCommerce website highlighting some of the features. The phone is set to arrive with 6GB of RAM but the processor has not been disclosed yet. However, Poco is touting the smartphone as "Power FTW - For The Win" and "Multi-tasking Made Easy" suggesting that there will be a good performance.

The page further mentions "Struggling with Low Resolution Screens?". It seems like Poco M2 will sport a high-resolution display which we are expecting to be at least 1080p. The phone is set to have a notched display and a longer battery life for uninterrupted user experience.

It is also worth noting that the Poco X3 launch has also been set for September 7th. It means we will get to see two new Poco smartphones next week. The latter is expected to be an original release with no rebranding of an existing Redmi phone.

The Poco M2 isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
