Xiaomi has officially unveiled the new Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition lineup in India. This new series features TV models in 32-inch and 43-inch display sizes with negligible side bezels. This also explains the nomenclature of the series. Both these models offer a similar set of specs and features barring a few differences.
Starting with the bigger model it sports a 43-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with the standard 60Hz refresh rate and 178-degree viewing angle. Under the hood, it has a quad-core Amlogic processor with Cortex-A53 cores and 1GB of RAM. The TV has Mali-450 MP3 GPU and 8GB of onboard storage for installing apps and games.
The TV comes with Mi Quick Wake that is said to help users wake up their Mi TV within 5 seconds. There are 20W stereo speakers with DTS HD audio support. On the software front, it will run Xiaomi's PatchWall UI based on Android and with Google Play Store access. The TV has three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and an ethernet port.
In comparison, the 32-inch model comes with an HD Ready display panel i.e. 1368 x 768 pixels resolution. All other specifications and features are exactly the same as the bigger model. Since it has a smaller and lower-resolution display, it also costs a lot cheaper than the bigger one.
The pricing for the 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition is set at Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 22,999 respectively. Both of these will be sold via Flipkart, Mi.com website, and Mi offline stores around the country. These two variants will go on sale starting September 11th and 15th respectively.
