Poco has added a new budget smartphone Poco M2 to the catalog of products available in India. The phone is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro but with a few changes here and there. The highlight of the phone includes quad rear cameras and a huge battery along with a mid-range gaming processor for affordable pricing.
The Poco M2 sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) notched display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G80 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone is available with 64GB and 128GB storage options with support for microSD card expansion.
The phone has quad rear cameras featuring a 13-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera on the device is an 8-megapixel sensor that you will find within the notch on the front panel.
There is a huge 5,000mAh battery to keep the lights on. It is supported by 15W fast charging for shorter charging times. The phone has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth v5.0, and an IR blaster. The Poco M2 has been priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,499 for 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants respectively. It will be available in Brick Red, Slate Blue, and Pitch Black color variants starting September 15th.
