Amazon Prime Music first introduced the podcast feature in September last year. And, today it is launching the same in India as well. The podcast platform will host content from creators like Jay Shetty, Cyrus Broacha, Neil Bhatt, Robin Sharma, Sadhguru, Anupam Gupta, among many others.
The platform will also show content from Amazon Originals as well. These Amazon Original shows will be available in different languages, across genres like motivation, business, technology, comedy, music, fitness, and more. Podcasts are available for Prime members at no additional cost.
The new podcast platform is available on Android and iOS apps of Amazon Prime Music. It can also be accessed from the web player and Echo devices.

Amazon has announced the launch of Podcasts inside its music streaming service Amazon Music. The new facility will invite new creators to create content and publish it on Amazon Music. In the beginning, the Podcasts in Amazon Music will also house original shows produced exclusively for Amazon Music and hosted by creators including DJ Khaled, Becky G, Will Smith, Dan Patrick, and more. While announcing the new Podcasts feature inside its Amazon Music service, the company also revealed that in the future the streaming service will also bring more interesting shows, including Disgraceland coming in February 2021. This show will explore the criminal antics and connections of some of the world’s favorite musicians.
Amazon in its announcement also points out that it has partnered with one of the prolific hit makers of the 21st century, DJ Khaled, and come up with the show “The First One.” The superstar will interview his all-time favorite artists about the hits that made them iconic and eventually legendary.
DJ Khaled said,
We’ll talk about fame, fortune, life, and success. These stories are here to motivate you because everybody starts from somewhere, from the ordinary to extraordinary. Before you get to another one, you got to get to 'The First One,' only on
Amazon Music.
