Microsoft details where and when to prebook Xbox Series X and S

These past few days have been a great one for console gaming fans. Both Microsoft and Sony have revealed their respective next-gen console pricing and availability details in time for the holiday season. Now, Microsoft has released a new statement revealing the exact Xbox Series X and Series S pre-order retailers and time for different regions around the world.

The flagship Xbox Series X has been priced at $499 and budget disc-less Xbox Series S will cost just $299. Both of these will be up for pre-orders globally starting September 22nd and launch on November 10th. But as for the exact time pre-orders will kick off, here are the details:

  • United States at 8 AM PT: Microsoft Store, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Newegg, and other participating retailers
  • Canada at 8 AM PT: Microsoft Store, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, The Source, and other participating retailers
  • United Kingdom at 8 AM BST: Microsoft Store, GAME, Amazon, Dixons, Currys PC World, Argos, John Lewis, Smyths Toys, VERY, AO, Tesco, Simply Game, Shopto, and other participating retailers
  • Australia at 8 AM AEST: Microsoft Store, JB Hifi, EB Games, Telstra, Harvey Norman, and other participating retailers
  • New Zealand at 8 AM NZST: Microsoft Store, JB HiFi, EB Games, Spark, and other participating retailers
  • Europe, Middle East, and Africa at 9 AM CEST: Microsoft Store, Amazon, MediaMarkt, GameStop, FNAC, Elkjøp/Elgiganten, and other participating retailers

It should be noted these timings are only for online stores. If you are someone who is interested preordering through a brick and mortar store, you will have to get in touch with that particular store to know the kick-off time.

For those planning to get their new Xbox console through the Xbox All Access membership, here are specific pre-order details:
