Oppo has launched a new smartphone named Reno 4 SE 5G in China. It is the affordable phone in the Reno 4 lineup that includes Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro. The highlights of the phone include 5G connectivity, punch-hole display, triple rear cameras, and 65W super-fast charging.
The Oppo Reno 4 SE 5G sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display with a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and 20:9 aspect ratio. It further boasts 100% sRGB color gamut, 91.97% DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 180Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The internal storage options include 128GB and 256GB with no support for expansion.
The triple rear camera module includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and is housed within the punch-hole.
The whole package is powered by a 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. It is claimed to charge the phone completely in just 37 minutes. It will run ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 out of the box. The Oppo Reno 4 SE 5G has been priced at CNY 2,499 (about $370) and CNY 2,799 (about $414) for the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variant respectively.
