After announcing the LG K42, LG has introduced a new mid-range smartphone LG K71. It is different from the other phones in the price segment as it comes with a stylus. The phone has currently been announced only in Central America and the Caribbean market with no information about other regions.
The LG K71 sports a 6.8-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with a U-shaped notch and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone comes loaded with a single storage option i.e. 128GB with support for microSD cards.
The back panel has a horizontal triple camera system including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and will run LG's custom UI based on Android 10. Other important features include a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
There is no pricing information about the LG K71. It has been launched in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Panama. We will update the story as and when LG makes the pricing details public.
