Samsung has launched a new F-series of smartphones and the first entrant is Galaxy F41. The new Galaxy F-series targets the affordable to mid-range phones segment with its new phones with a decent set of specifications.
The first phone of the series is Galaxy F41 and it has some appealing features, including an AMOLED display and the massive 6,000mAh battery capacity. Looks-wise, the phone features nothing new, you will see it following the ongoing trend that is teardrop-notch and a back panel filled with multiple cameras.
The Galaxy F41 has a large display as well. It features a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED Infinity-U display, what the company likes to call for the display with teardrop-notch. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the in-house Exynos 9611 processor and paired with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. There is up to 128GB onboard storage with microSD support so that you can expand it further whenever required.
On the back, the phone houses triple rear cameras, where the main sensor is 64MP followed by an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 5MP sensor with live focus support. Interestingly, at a lower mid-range price, the phone also offers 4K video recording. On the front, the phone has a 32MP camera for taking selfies with live focus support. There is an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner on the back in for authentication purpose. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
One of the main highlights of the Samsung Galaxy F41 is its 6,000mAh battery capacity with fast-charging support. Samsung bundles a 15W charger in the box and the battery is rated to deliver up to 21 hours of browsing time or 48 hours of voice calling on a single charge.
The Galaxy F41 will make its debut in India via Flipkart’s Big Billion Days that is set to happen on October 16. The price of the base model (6GB+64GB) is Rs. 16,999, while the one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 17,999. As an introductory offer, Samsung is offering Rs. 1,500 off on both the models, making their price down to Rs. 15,499 and Rs. 16,499 respectively. However, it is unknown when the offer will last. Additionally, there is a 10% instant discount if you make a purchase using the SBI credit or debit card on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale.
It will be available on Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail stores from October 16, 2020.
