OnePlus to launch new Nord-series phones on October 26 | Tip

12 October 2020 0

OnePlus has some new phones to launch in the remaining months of this year. And, if the rumors are to be believed, OnePlus will launch all the new phones this month only. This is already confirmed that OnePlus 8T is launching on October 14 but reportedly, this is not the only phone coming this month.

According to Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks on Twitter), one of the top tipsters in the tech world, OnePlus will launch its new phones in the Nord series this month. Not only that, but he also tipped the names of these two phones – Nord N10 5G and N100. Previous leaks have tipped the name of one of them and some rumors around it are also available. But this is the first time, the name of the second phone of the Nord series has popped up.

The tipster also claims to mark October 26 in our calendars because this is going to be the day when OnePlus will launch these new phones in the Nord series. He also said via Voice.com that OnePlus will conduct the launch event at 12 pm (GMT).

The tipster didn’t disclose any other details, but he appears to be quite sure while sharing the launch time details.

Not much is known about these two phones, however, past rumors have suggested the Nord N10 5G will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series, probably the Snapdragon 690, and the second one that has now its name apparently confirmed as N100 may get its juice from Snapdragon 400-series. The Nord N10 5G could offer a 90Hz refresh rate with an FHD+ display and 6GB RAM with 28GB storage onboard.

If this tip is to be believed we will see OnePlus launching new phones back to back. The new Nord phones are expected to launch for the US market only.
