Redmi, sub-brand owned by Xiaomi is apparently gearing up to launch a new phone in its Note-series. According to what has been tipped by a known tipster on the Weibo platform, Redmi appears to have a new phone in its launch pipeline that will feature the 108MP primary sensor. The tipster DigitalChatStation suggests that this unknown handset has a model number that ends with "J17".
Later, a separate post by an unknown tipster on Weibo suggested that Redmi Note 10 series may have model number M2007J17C. The tipster claims to have cited industry sources while bringing this information to the public. This alludes to the fact that Redmi Note 10 is the same phone that the first tipster referred to and if that’s the case, this is going to be the first Redmi-branded smartphone with such a high-resolution sensor.

According to the tip, the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro will sport an LCD display with a punch-hole camera. The standard model may come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC and come with a 48MP main lens. As per the tipster, it will rather be the Pro model coming with the 108MP main sensor. The Pro model is supposedly carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor.
The tipster also notes that the new Redmi Note 10 may launch in China sometime this month.
