Carl Pei, one of the OnePlus co-founders, has reportedly left the company with the goal of starting a new venture. A Reddit user JonSigur posted alleged internal documents showing leadership structure and one can see Pei's name missing. While this is not conclusive evidence, publications like TechCrunch, Android Police, and Android Central have independently verified and corroborated the claim.

The reports mention that Pei seems to have decided to leave OnePlus in recent weeks. An official statement is yet to be released by the company as well as Pei himself. However, it is quite possible that both parties are holding up the information until the OnePus 8T launch which will happen tomorrow.

Pei is a well-known face among OnePlus fans and tech enthusiasts around the world. He co-founded the company along with Pete Lau in 2013 with the vision of providing flagship features at an affordable price. The brand has seen immense growth in all these years and has become one of the top premium brands in the market. It has even expanded to different product categories to become more of a tech lifestyle brand.

Most recently, Pei was involved with the launch of the OnePlus Nord series that also proved to be very popular among buyers. It marked the return of the company to its roots. The reports point that Pei will now start a new venture but there is no information about what kind of. We will keep you updated as more details will surface either through official channels or sources.
